3. Veterans day is a public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of World War I (November 11) to honor US veterans and victims of all wars. It replaced Armistice Day in 1954.

Today is the day, now is the time, to honor the service for all of those who served our country. They protected our freedom now we will be provide necessary services and benefits they rightfully deserve. 

It's heartbreaking to know those men that served in the war past away. However, they did it for our countries freedom, and now will serve them and honor them . they will always be remembered as heroes.
